Supporting health workers in a difficult epidemiological period is one of the main tasks now. Due to the spread of coronavirus in Belarus, our trade union organization is taking measures aimed at providing assistance to health workers.

In the current epidemiological situation associated with the COVID-2019 outbreak, the trade union committee of the healthcare institution «4th City Clinical Hospital named after M. Saŭčanka» provides assistance to hospital workers. 70 sanitary suits, safety glasses and masks were purchased. Also, the hospital staff that provides medical assistance with COVID-19 are given material assistance according to the applications of the professional groups of structural units.

Medical assistance with COVID-19 is provided by 250 employees.

And the most important thing for us is to provide them with hot meals and housing for those employees who have small children and retired parents. Today the hospital has established hot meals for employees that provide medical care with COVID-19: hot dinners and suppers. Hospital employees live in hotels, transport links have been established with these hotels in the «to and from work» direction.

The effectiveness of the measures depends on the joint efforts of the trade union committee and the hospital administration. And V. Januška, the head doctor of the hospital, provides great help and assistance in all activities. After all, taking care of the health of our employees in the current conditions is our main task!
